Today is the day you Get into Fitness. Whether you have given up hope or never had hope to begin with - just stop and refocus! You deserve to be fit, healthy and full of energy!
You might often think it's impossible to lose and maintain weight and to be fit and strong. You might want to give up the same day you begin. You might even have days when you think this "fitness thing" has to be the hardest thing you can go through and that it's just not worth it. Getting fit is 100% possible and definitely worth the effort.
By figuring out who you really are can help propel you forward into the right direction. Find out who you are and then live it - fully! Becoming strong and confident will help you get moving in the right direction.

Before you turn away just take another look at my before pictures on the How Did Mary Get Into It page. I have walked in your shoes. I get it. Achieving the same results will take some discipline, changes and determination. And, by the way, the discipline is already inside of you, we'll just have to dig deep and grab hold of it (read my article about starting the perfect fitness plan). No more excuses, start today! My motivation and tips along the way will soften the blow by making healthful eating and working out fun, adventurous, and a bit different each time.
** A note from me to you, and especially to young people ** Some people ask, “How did you allow yourself to get so heavy”? (you know the ones that just don't get it) During my life-long roller coaster ride with my body image and weight I have learned one thing. It doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks—that’s all part of the low self esteem pattern we fall prey to. What matters is how you feel and what you think. Once you remember that and get into fitness for YOU, then you will succeed.
